Hi there. It’s me Jackie Allen again. I’ve been the Programme Administrator on The Manager’s Toolkit which we’ve been running over the past month. After Module 1, Managing People Effectively, I was really looking forward to Module 2, Managing the Business Effectively. Over the first two days, Adam Campbell and Alexander Mackenzie took us through loads of fascinating insights into motivation, communication, coaching and handling conflict to help us to do our jobs better back in our owner managed businesses. I’d reflected quite a lot over the couple of weeks in between the modules and I knew some managers were participating in only one of the modules so in my marketing and programme administrator role I was really interested to understand how the two sessions fitted together as an overall development programme and was glad to have the opportunity to sit in on both.Read More...
